This picture was taken, obviously, on the Great Wall of China. I walked a long way and, surprisingly, it was more of a steep uphill walk then climbing stairs. The view was beautiful and I loved this picture. I think it really captures what I saw, the big hills in the background and the length of this giant wall. I took most of the saturation out of the picture because I thought the colour of the grass was blending in with the wall too much and making the picture too busy. The Wall was breathtaking and being able to stand on it was amazing. I wish I could give everyone that experience, this is as close as I can get. Enjoy.

Oooh, that’s a pretty picture. I do wish those stairs on the bottom weren’t there, but I guess Photoshopping them out would be bad… Or at least, not respecting the true landscape or whatever. Haha. Stupid stairs.
Love it, though. The rough texture on the super-soft mountains in the background. New wallpaper :)
wow at least you are giving us a taste of what you felt even though I guess it was no where near how you felt. this photo is absolutly beautiful
Haha, Aaron those stairs are apart of the Great Wall, I wanted them there. There are tunnels that go down underneath that allow you to come out the other side and then continue down the stairs attached to that giant rock. I like them:) But thanks for using it as your background!
Stephanie, Amazing!!!I think the stairs are intriguing, one looks at the picture and wonders where the stairs lead? Thanks for sharing this with me. Love Nana
Excellent shot Steph.
