So, this is my first post on my new website. I dedicated my first post to my boyfriend, of almost 8 months, Aaron. Since he built this site as a Christmas present for me, I thought it would be appropriate to make the first picture of him.
I took this picture not long ago, last weekend actually, when I dragged his butt out of the warm house to the forest. We took his German Shepard, Tyra, along as well, to enjoy the walk in the snow. It was really nice, no wind and not that cold, but cold enough for snow to stay on the ground. Perfect weather for walking through the paths that were made by previous adventurers. But, my heart still longs for summer days by the pier.
So enjoy the pictures from here on out, I'll try and post on my site as often as I can. Big thanks to Air Bear for giving me this opportunity to show off my pictures! I love you.

Hey. I don't actually mind this photo of me… That's a pretty miraculous feat, Honey.
Vlad mentioned that I looked like a Husky. So it's doubly awesome :P
Glad to see you're finally on your way with this thing! I'm very much looking forward to seeing more.
Might I also add the the lily at the top right of my portrait makes me look extra manly.
sigh
It looks like Aaron's going to kill a small child. It's that evil look in his eyes!
What kind of equipment do you use?
Haha! Poor Aaron, he never can find a way to look cool. KIDDING!
I have a Nikon D80 and a standard 58mm lens, well for that shot. I have a bunch of other standard lens like macro, zoom, etc. Nothing fancy, though I hope to upgrade in the later years, unfortunately my wallet can only afford this right now.
Nice. I sold all of my equipment late last year in hopes of getting a new Canon 30D, but some things came up and right now it's not in the budget. Plus the 40 came out. So I'm saving for a 40D and a nice lens, but I'm been saying that for a while. Soon enough…
Looking forward to more photos. :)
Nice photo, Steph. I'm excited to see what else you post here. Aaron, nice job setting up the site. Is it a custom template? Either way, it looks great.
Hey Matthew. Thanks :) And yeah, it's all custom. I even painted the lily (the shape of which I yoinked from Photoshop's shape library… Shh!)
Oh, and I'll use my comment to advertise that you can now subscribe to site updates and get e-mailed whenever she adds a photo. Sweeeet.
Mighty fine sight Miss Stephanie! I'm glad to finally see some of your newer work or other work rather then just in photography class. I love it, the pictures are looking good!
this is really great stuff Stephanie!
The power of Christ compels you! The power of Christ compels you!
Good picture though
Umm, which James is this?
From now on, I declare people post with their last name… unless your name is crazy, like Joelle. Haha!
Its James Tallon, although I guess you figured that out today eh?
my name is not crazy!
Wow Steph, seems like someone found your site and is now posting spam. Congrats!
I’m going to have to add a robot check. “Type in the following letters”. I guess there’s no other way…
Yeah, I didn’t think you would need a security feature but I suposse I was wrong.
Alright, I’m going to try this for a while instead. It was implemented before, but in a stupid, easy-to-get-around kind of way. Not anymore. I hope…
I really hate CAPTCHAs (those image things) so I’m going to hold off on them for as long as I can :P
Ok, sorry for the testing... But it works, and hopefully this will prevent future spam disasters.
Ok, apparently some douche is being awfully persistent spreading ads on this blog. Considering its traffic, I don’t see what the point is. Ah well.
I’ve added the rel=”nofollow” attribute to all links in comments. This tells search engines not to follow links tagged with this attribute, which at the very least prevents this crap from being crawled. If the spammer continues, he’s just being an ass; there’s no reason to do it anymore.
I’m also going to implement a remote validation routine which Tyler turned me on to. I think it’s remote, anyway. But yeah, it should help with a lot of this, too. Sorry to anyone reading this who’s had to suffer the wave of e-mail notifications about new, fake posts.
