I took this picture, obviously, over the Christmas break, while waiting around for Christmas day. I took me forever to get the shot angled properly, so as to not see my camera in the reflection of the bulb. I tried to get as much in focus as I could, but it was indoors and I had to use a wide aperture. I could have used a flash, but then the reflection would have been distorted. So, I was stuck with a small depth-of-field picture, but none the less I still love it. Brings a warm Christmasy feeling in my heart.
P.S. For those who are unfamiliar with the movie "How the Grinch Stole Christmas" Cindy Lou Who was woken up by a Christmas bulb that rolled into her room.

It is neatly composed. Smidge blurry in odd places, but meh.
And I know we've been having fun spotting Easter eggs in your photos, but the black reflection in the cap under the ring looks exactly like one of the aliens from Signs.
Just sayin'.
OH DEAR GOD! IT DOES! Jeez, that would have been scary if there was an actual alien behind me, creeping in my picture. Shudder that gives me the creeps.
